S&S - its a bit rubbish methinks!, by Philippe on Dec 19, 2007 2:44:00 GMT 1, I have always liked the idea behind an innocent character being hassled by an authority figure. Although I believe Banksy has done better versions of this concept, I still really like S&S aesthetically and for the point it's expressing.

PoW Discriminating against locals??, by Philippe on Dec 8, 2007 3:18:00 GMT 1, Yah I guess if I lived 4-5 hours away by flight I would be able to go but all the way on the west coast, it will take too much time away from my responsibilities. Such as getting high, neglecting worldly issues, and sitting on my arse. But its nice to know they got a flags waiting for me

A book on wife collecting I recommend is the Art of the Misses, well written and full of wife collecting stories gone mad It's kind of like a riches to rags story...

Collections - Have You Got A Problem!!!!, by Philippe on Dec 6, 2007 22:48:44 GMT 1, My addiction at a young age was collecting well blown glass on glass pieces. From there I began finding about artwork I appreciate, now every where I look in my new house there's either a Faile, Banksy, or Micallef...I couldn't be happier. I think addictions are good because they can lead you to other fun addictions ;D

Micallef price free-fall, by Philippe on Dec 6, 2007 23:57:49 GMT 1, The Laz 50 edition prints really haven't fluctuated that much, just haven't risen. Micallef's work will stand the test of time and enjoy the cheaper prices while they last.

Another Banksy trashed!!, by Philippe on Nov 27, 2007 21:21:19 GMT 1, Whats wrong with these people, why would any one do that, especially in that manner. Probably a child molester couldn't stand driving by it every day must of drove him nuts imagining what the cop does next. I thought the twisted fuck would of liked the image. Either that or another vandalizing police officer...

Micallef -Sale news, by Philippe on Nov 27, 2007 8:55:02 GMT 1, I don't know about Micallef. He's secured a small spot in the art world but I don't know if he will be going all star even if he is some part of a traveling museum show. But who knows. Still some people are trying to get about $15,000 for his minotaur weapon prints on ebay! Maybe it's worth it? But that's really crazy money for a print. And I do think a fair amount of the work at the LA show was weak. And just way too much hype leading into the show at a point when the hype was getting tiresome. And i just don't like those silver sculptures at the LA show at all. And this image, I just don't get this painting at all... It's the last thing I'd want hanging on my wall. Well maybe not the last thing but close...
Funny I thought that was one of the best pieces from the show ;D
