Jeremy Geddes, New print (timed release), by smallbylo on May 13, 2014 8:41:23 GMT 1, From his Instagram account... One Limited ed is coming and one timed release of a new painting...
"Good news on the print front, the paper issues that have been holding up the Ascent print run seem to have finally been resolved, so we can push ahead. Due to the prints fragile nature (the blacks are extremely delicate) it has to be a limited edition, but our plans for the timed edition are firming up (with a painting I am finally getting around to finishing). Big thankyou to @juxtapozmag for the shoutout. It's an honour to be in their 20 year anniversary show at @jonathanlevinegallery"

Escif 🇪🇦 Street Art • New Print Release • For Sale, by smallbylo on Jul 6, 2011 22:09:43 GMT 1, From FIFTY24SF Gallery
We opened our new gallery show last night at FIFTY24SF Gallery, See You in Croatan, featuring collaborative works and concepts by Spanish artists, San and Escif. The two took their road show to the gallery, with various inspirations and artworks about the trip and the process of collaboration featured in the gallery. It is definitely a great show to spend some time with, with intricate details and story lines in each portion of the show. Really great stuff.

Aakash Nihalani 🇺🇸 3D Geometric Illusions • NY Street Art, by smallbylo on Apr 13, 2011 10:09:44 GMT 1, Although I've got one one beautiful "gallery" piece from him that I love... I agree with you: I've been more tempted by signed photos from his street pieces than from a lot of his gallery work... (Beside that, I think that this print is a beautiful image at a good price...)
My little beauty:

POW Information , by smallbylo on Mar 12, 2011 10:57:37 GMT 1, Hi people! Writting from London a little sad... I realise now that POW doesn't open its doors on saturdays... And I can't believe I haven't planned it properly. It has always been this way or they have changed timetable lately? I'm going to Shoreditch and I know I'm going to see a lot of street pieces and galleries and flowers and smiling people on the streets but... I can feel warm salad water in my eyes.

Where to sleep in London?, by smallbylo on Mar 9, 2011 19:28:50 GMT 1, HI there! I'm finally travelling to London tomorrow (twenty years after!!) and now that I'm printing all the info, maps, etc... I notice how difficult is to take a good directory of the urban art galleries... I did a google map but is soo difficult for me to print and point every dot to its good address...
Does anyone had done a beautiful and printable list, pdf map or similar or knows where I can get one ?
maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=215663979560901697970.000475d825026cb5df0ac&t=h&z=12
Beside that, I'm not going to miss the Elbow toe opening at BRP, nor Annie Lennox singing at Southbank... anything else will be a surprise mainly related to walking (is cold out there?). Ideas welcomed.
Memory card empty to take photos of Blu, Banksy, Eine... my beloved Scary! .. Little money saved for artextras... Hoping to see Shrigley pieces at museums and galleries... oh, wow... Can you understand how excited I am? Thanks for all the tips, advices, and good vibes..

BTOY, by smallbylo on Dec 16, 2010 0:05:29 GMT 1, Just returned from my stencil class with Btoy, Andrea Michaelson !(a she) (Just 4 classes to know our admired technique, and to have fun!)
Andrea sells prints online at www.miscelanea.info This days there is a little exhibit with pieces on canvas and paper from 500 euros to 3000 I think.
You can find pieces also in Baselements.net
And she shows from time to time in Carmichael Gallery and a few galleries in Paris and Milan, that you can probably spot surfing through her flickr.
Enjoy!

Blu 🇮🇹 Bologna Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by smallbylo on Dec 15, 2010 12:14:49 GMT 1, Here is Fairey's reaction to the MOCA controversy...
Like many people I was puzzled with the news that the mural had been painted over and I initially speculated that it may have had to do with the City of Los Angeles' moratorium on murals and billboards. When I inquired further I found out that the mural had been executed prior to being approved by MOCA because MOCA’s people were in Miami for Art Basel at the time... This is a complex situation that could have been avoided [altogether] with better communication. I’m not a fan of censorship but that is why I, and many of the other artists of the show, chose to engage in street art for its democracy and lack of bureaucracy...
However, a museum is a different context with different concerns. It would be tragic for the break through of a street art /graffiti show at a respected institution like MOCA to be sabotaged by public outcry over perceived antagonism or insensitivity in Blu’s mural. Graffiti is enough of a contentious issue already. The situation is unfortunate but I understand MOCA’s decision. Sometimes I think it is better to take the high road and forfeit a battle but keep pushing to win the war. Street art or graffiti purists are welcome to pursue their art on the streets as they always have without censorship. I think that though MOCA wants to honor the cultural impact of the graffiti/street art movement, it only exists in its purist form in the streets from which it arose.
— Shepard Fairey
