Dublin - What's to Be Seen Next Weekend?, by eyectopus on Sept 1, 2008 9:34:58 GMT 1, The Eine stuff is very handy to get to. It is only a few minutes from O'Connell Bridge. It is on street called Georges Quay. Georges Quay is an extension of Burgh Quay that starts at O'Connell Bridge. When you are at Burgh Quay you will see a pub called "Messrs Maguire". The Eine stuff is on the same side of the street as "Messrs Maguire" and about 5 minutes walk away.

Saber 🇺🇸 Graffiti Art • Los Angeles • For Sale, by eyectopus on Aug 29, 2008 8:49:33 GMT 1, Received my Saber Krunchtime print yesterday. It has been a while coming but is a beautiful print. It is massive and the print goes right to the edge of the paper. The only thing I didn't like was the signature was very blurry and hard to see here it was signed. Top Notch Print though! Afraid to see the cost of a frame for it!

Dublin Point Village, by eyectopus on Aug 22, 2008 11:52:23 GMT 1, It is at the Point depot beside the docks in Dublin. It is about a mile walk down the quays from O'Connell Bridge. It is the other side of the River Liffey from the Eine "Prison" Food", which is much nearer O'Connell Bridge.
I am not sure what the story is behind it. Have to check it out. This is what the had previously;

Dublin Point Village, by eyectopus on Aug 22, 2008 9:08:57 GMT 1, I'm not sure when it appeared, I only go by there the odd time. I'd say it is legit as they have had different type of images for the last while. I think this is the 1st with no reference to the site it is on(the rest were promoting the Point Village being built).

Jean-Michel Basquiat 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York • Graffiti Art , by eyectopus on Aug 12, 2008 23:59:54 GMT 1, If someone was going to produce a fake, I would put nothing past them. They could create all documents and age them etc to throw you off track.
It might be worth keeping an eye on the seller to see if anything else like this pops up.

Jean-Michel Basquiat 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York • Graffiti Art , by eyectopus on Aug 12, 2008 23:49:37 GMT 1, I think it might be too good to be true alright. If the details on the back of the frame say 10,000 to 20,000(pretty old and outdated figures). I am sure the seller would have investigated this more.
Also the last thing the seller sold was a hand etched metal plate signed "Picasso" which went for just over $300.

Jean-Michel Basquiat 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York • Graffiti Art , by eyectopus on Aug 12, 2008 23:38:11 GMT 1, Its like the Cabeza print;
www.artnet.com/artwork/425675590/496/jean-michel-basquiat-cabeza.html
Pity the paper is damaged where the "Michel" should be. If I was certain it was a Basquiat I wouldn't be bothered that it was damaged in any way though.

Faile Lavender Book, by eyectopus on Aug 9, 2008 11:36:52 GMT 1, Cheers for that thieving4peace
This is very confusing. It looks like there was meant to be no run of books, but somehow they were offered for sale in error on the day of the last print run. As there were no books created, Faile needed to create a new edition instead of cancelling the orders taken due to the error.
I wonder if people bought more than one book? Or is it an edition of 11 as opposed to 11 people that bought one.
It would be very nice to get on either way. I have one ordered myself, from the mail I got I assumed it was another batch of 50 that were created.

Faile Lavender Book, by eyectopus on Aug 9, 2008 7:37:04 GMT 1, I thought there was 6 silkscreened covers released previously, it must have been 5. They are as below;
Military Love/Death Mermaid Bunny Boy Head/Dog Al Queda/Scuba Horse Butterfly/Poison
Each of the above was a run of 50. I am sure the latest one was more than 11. I was logged on when they were selling and I watched the numbers change as they sold.
The 3000 figure is the regular edition of the book, I am not sure of the silkscreened versions are included in this figure.

Faile Lavender Book, by eyectopus on Aug 8, 2008 11:51:28 GMT 1, I have one on the way as well. I don't think this edition was planned. The last edition went on sale again in error, so they created this edition to fulfil the orders.

A minor selling problem, by eyectopus on Aug 8, 2008 10:54:05 GMT 1, Did you check what the buyer had purchased on ebay in the past? I have seen some potential buyers and sellers with 20 or 30 positive feedbacks, but when I looked at them they were all for items worth a couple of cents or a dollar. They were buying extremely cheap items to build up a misleading rating.
