I’m thinning out my collection- I’m letting these glass grenades by Jimmy South “Born To Kiln” go....
These are for sale at cost - which from memory & checking through correspondence is

GOLD - £SOLD
These are from an edition of 12 - and all are Ed 9/12

The first grenade in the series was released before the black peli cases were included as packaging

The next 2 grenades came in the branded peli cases - The order of release was Blood-Oil-Gold

The gold in each set is unique from memory- and cost more than the other 2 - due to this and expense of the gold leaf filling. This unique version has a half traditional cut on the lower 1/2 of the Grenade & looks stunning

I would prefer to sell as a set - but I can discuss splitting them if I can find buyers for all 3

I miss Born To Kiln, he’s been quiet for a while now. Hope he’s ok. These are fantastic though and had I not bought a sculpture recently then I’d have been all over these.

Anybody interested needs to jump on these at this price. In the flesh you will not believe how great these are. They are stunning pieces of glass sculpture and a medium that never dates!

I’ve not heard from him for a while. He went off WhatsApp he told me because of the change to the platform, privacy or something and then he lost a great friend. Really hope he is still around and getting ready to drop some more great glass sculptures.
