I wouldn't say a lazy image far from it, quite a bold simple image from a detailed pattern for sure that suits the weight and the overall glamour of the sculpture. The 60/70s feel of the pattern colours really works for me and the shape of the pattern with her forward facing stare is hypnotic. ย
Maybe you could say lazy in content (meaning behind her) but thats a hard one to call with alot art as it could be part of a bigger body of work.ย I don't know why they used twiggy, but then again artists have been doing portraits of modern icons for a long time and will continue to do so. I think the whole object is nicely thought out as a portrait, love the pattern on the back as well.ย
