Adam Neate Art Stage Singapore, by johnnyh on Jan 9, 2013 7:57:45 GMT 1, Great news on the Adam Neate front he is attending Art Stage Singapore (Sing Art Fair).
Billed as his first solo presentation so I assume that this means he and Elms are going on their own and taking their own larger space at the show.
He always has new works for these shows and I am assuming that as he is there he will have a really good display of new work.
He also has Champagne reception at the British High Commission in Sing the day before Art Stage opens so Elms are really pushing the boat out for this one and really hope it is successful for them and him.
Really looking forward one to meeting him and also seeing what new works he will be displaying
Any Sing or Asian forum members who will be at the show and would like to meet up drop me a pm and we can all try and connect

very wise, friendly and soft spoken. 3 new 2013 pieces. the rest from 2012. all gloriously stunning.
a nice mesh of isms... into something unique and un-jpeg-able - dimensional paintings
the editions were there. hug's selling fast.
will post some pics soon!

Can't be that many hugs left now? I put my red nude up the other day, looks fantastic and glows in the dark, not exactly sure why but reminds me of my obsession with glow in the dark stuff when I was a kid!
I think there May be some more lenticular images coming out at some point, will be more expensive though and the last one was ยฃ2500...

Elms and Adam had agreat stand and plenty of new pieces on display about 10 new since the London show. He has also sold well at the show which is good. Was great to meet him and did me a lovely little sketch.

Not sure by name will have a look in the catalogue. There was a really decent Indonesian pavilion there though so his/her work may well have been there.

Started with a drinks reception at the UK Consulate for collectors, museums, galleries. They gave guests a give away bag which had a cat of his works at the show, a signed poster and this really neat excuse the expression give away which is a cardboard package with a credit card size USB of videos of his work over the years not had a great look at them yet. Really nicely thought out and really well put together absolute quality
At the show they had a really large space and although the whole show was white they had their large stand space painted black and also a ceiling which worked really well very simple but rally tasty set up and well thought out. Considering his dimensional show which was all new work was held in London in October I was pretty astounded that he was showing around 10 brand new pieces of a really serious nature as well as superb finishes on all of them. His work is of an extraordinarily high quality both in content and finnish. All really clean edges etc.
Hope the photos work in the new set up!!!
First time I had actually met him. Really nice bloke and was good enough to do a lovely little sketch for me. Got to spend a little while chatting and couldn't fail to be impressed with his ideas going forward that he was talking about. just seems really full on and works really hard nd cares about what he does.

These three are actually on wood rather than canvas although does look like canvas. Uses much bigger and heavier pipes for movement than he has used before. Really stunning pieces. The red did not photo so well but it was my fav of the 3 with the blue one very close
