I think it's fair to say getting an original is going to be a challenge now. That said, with prints from a mere £75 on Jealous there really is no excuse to say they have missed out on his work altogether. I can't think of many artists who have 'lowered' themselves to part with their work for such an amount.
I love some of the titles. The one with the 2 planes facing each other is called 'Forms That Don't Lend Themselves To Intimacy'

What annoys me is how the papers constantly put hirst on some kind of trendsetting pedestal when it comes to what people should be buying. The guy only seems to buy stuff which has connotations of his own work i.e anything to do with dead animals or skulls i.e Paul insect.

I don't think that CB is going to have to milk it. If you look at his work over the last few years there has been a steady growth in both his style and prices. Comparing him to other artists who are associated with his scene (ie Adam Neate, Antony Micallef, etc) their prices are pretty comparable.

I think that CB and his management have handled his career very well. Although the originals are out of many people's league, they've kept the prints at a relatively sensible level. Hopefully this means that the prints will sell to people who actually want to have his work on their wall rather than sticking it on Ebay for double the price three days later.

Good to see a bit of talent getting noticed for a change.

Got a couple of nice gifts from Alan at his 'The Meaning of Everything' show last year. Bit narked I missed out on 'Bird' print. Sold out shortly after his show. Should've got it when I had a chance.

Does anyone know anything (dimensions, current value, etc.) about the earlier Half Pint prints? Is the horizontally oriented version on EBeans the only other Half Pint print in existence? I'm considering picking up a NY version and really love the image. I'm just a little concerned about how large it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Half Pint NY arrived today. Have just released it from it's massive tube and will try to post some pics over the weekend.

Half Pint NYC prints are available from both Jealous and Charming Baker websites. They are shipping from the UK. The Jealous crew are back from New York and posting out now; The Bakers are returning soon and will be dispatching post haste!
Prints are super lovely. All hand silk screened with two layers of lascaux metallics and a final varnish coat.
