I really Enjoyed that and after seeing her work up-close she is amongst my most sought after artists. I kind of sense that where previously, female representation in the scene was waning we are beginning to some some very strong female artists coming through (Katrin, Herakut (half of), Maya, Miss Van.....)

You can get an idea of some of her more established techniques and processes from this video: Nice one Feral Things - and it was great to see some of her techniques too - clearly it is a mix of random application with the intricate finishing. I had assumed there was some sort of extra medium that caused some reaction with the paint (in some of the minutest details there were intricate little patterns) - i assumed they were some sort of reaction and caused natural but uniform pattens to emerge - although now i think it is more a case of the intricate little touches and manipulation of the mediums she uses I really Enjoyed that and after seeing her work up-close she is amongst my most sought after artists. I offered the complete set of 4 prints a while back with no success. I broke up the set and eventually sold 3 of the 4. This is the last print I have from the set.
ASKING: $2,250 USD (~1,465 GBP - dependent on FX rate). Price includes shipping. Print will be delivered via a packing tube.
Prefer to sell domestically, but would consider an international sale.

Giclee on Entrada/Moab 100% Cotton Rag 320g
Condition: Excellent

In the film titled As a Gorilla (featured on Charming Bakerβs website), his son comments on the tiger depicted in βUnusual and Electricβ. The tiger is a prominent character in some of Bakerβs other works including "The Unfathomable Distance of Proximity" and βLove Paves the Way to Decayβ. In βThe Unfathomable Distance of Proximityβ, the viewer cannot help but imagine the song βThe Lion Sleeps Tonightβ playing in the background. But Baker stops short of being a happy-ending-Disney-film by depicting an older gentleman who crawls cautiously around an animal that could potentially maul him to death. Or could itβ¦..as a tiger cub? It is this combination of uncertainty and uncomfortableness that makes Bakerβs works so engaging without giving you the obvious answer.

(Used the printers that printed DFace UnAmerican G, and Shep's' large formats. Can't remember the name of the printers.)

I purchased the prints in 2010 after seeing the Stupid Has a New Hero show in New York. Tim Fennell provided the pricing sheet. For the 4 prints from the LA show the pricing sheet states "Printed by Carmichael Gallery". The other prints (e.g., Half Pint NYC) for sale on the pricing sheet state "Printed by Jealous." The LA show featuring these 4 images was November 2008. I'm not sure if Baker even had a relationship with Jealous at that time. And so, the California printer may have been Baker's choice at the time and not necessarily as quick fix. I could be wrong.
