Jealous had the full set up for Β£10k a year or so back but I've seen them fail to sell on eBay for Β£1.5k each? Beautiful though and two I'd love to own.

Charming: 'Mostly when I look at the work, when I think about most of the subject matter itβs that bit before the end. Itβs very much that little bit before death β maybe thatβs what weβre living through? Sounds pretty dark but if we can look at that lightly it makes me feel better.
Charming: 'I think itβs [the idea] that weβll end up going to sweet nothing. If youβre religious you have that hope that thereβs an afterlife. If youβre an existentialist you know youβre going to nothing. I think itβs about coming to terms with either. If you donβt believe thereβs an afterlife, the idea that after we go, there might be no more trouble, only a long sleep β itβs not a bad thing. Also, in life I think we probably do too much and make too much stuff. It would be nice to do less. I think thereβs something nice about the idea of nothing at all.'

That's it, the Jealous van of free love⦠they were handing out tubed show posters in righteous hemp bags. Amazed mine's lying on the table by me at the moment as it was dragged up to Scream Editions to see some AMAZING Kofe work.

Absolutely blown away by the works
- the brush strokes on the chicks, mimicking the shade / ruffle / texture of newborn feathers is undoubtedly the work of a very talented artist
- the wood carving especially in the man / horse piece is beautifully done and adds so much to the pieces
- the Nellephant piece is an absolute showstopper, the black background, the faint light on the child
- his graphite sketches of various figure are mesmerising. The figures seem so lively and detailed and yet so blunt at the same time. Could look at them for hours
And I could go on and on. Really not to be missed

I had a short window of opportunity to purchase an original panda boy (it had no red spot!!) but the wife just looked at me like I was mad.
Sadly his works have moved out of reach of most which is a shame as his work for me is very original and quirky, something hard to find nowadays. Good luck to him that's all I'd say.
