New Faile Paper Monster - Wed 30th Jan, by swamped on Jan 29, 2013 23:29:45 GMT 1, Just not feeling this, the artwork looks to old comic bookish for me, I'd much prefer the ballet one or my Heartbreak Brooklyn one blows this away for half the cost. Colors are nice but image is comic book, Aiko style ect...I think its the kid and buildings look I dont fancy so much... gl to all who go for it!

the other lovely thing about faile is that they, no matter how popular they are, release their prints at really good prices. I just get the impression that they really give a sh*t.

honestly there are artists that even if they give me an "incentive" to buy their works I do not buy them from him anyway. More than an incentive I see it as a special treat gift, 10 on 225, and even if you want to see it as an incentive to buy, this only works because it is a Faile's incentive on a already nice print, from some great artists that are top of the internatonal urban art, who have not forgotten the people who made them famous by buying their prints for an hundred dollars

I also would have preferred the print of "les ballets" (The idea of Faile embracing the dancer is brilliant), but this print is nice for me..two different style.

As many others said the ballet prints would have been much more awesome, but I would wait and use them on a more limited and more expensive print if I was Faile. They need to keep their hardcore collectors happy too.

Looking at some of the detail shots of the Tower, I think that those who were concerned about the recycling of old work should be encouraged, they have some fantastic new images up their sleeves.
Credit is definitely due to them for the variety of releases to suit different budgets, however the more I look at this one the more I think it a very weak choice for a print...

However I agree the les Ballets de Faile image is excellent and would make a great print. I definitely would not call this print bland - far from it. 
However each to their own as ever and good luck to those who want it.

Part of the appeal to me of Faile is the look/feel of something that's less "produced"...the borders always scream machine made to me.
