If you hate haters are you in fact a hater? And does anyone who users that term and is over 35 deserve to be acknowledged?

Wow a lot of you are crying arse holes. first complaining about it being a crap print then page after page of bitching because you couldn't buy that same print.

I understand being disappointed but he is an artist not an IT guy. His systems sucked and couldn't take the load. That sucks but I'm not sure why that means he should be hanged.

People seem to think they are owed something here. If you don't like the print or Nick move on. If you are too important to wait for the guy to get his system up then move on.

You are grown men and women suck it up.

 

totally agree with mmmike, just because you sat f5ing that doesn't mean NW owed you/your wife/anyone anything and you're entitled to a print. it's a bunfight and some you win, some you lose. I really wanted the last Faile and Invaders, missed both but am not b!tching and whining about it, life goes on...

Do you think NW's IT guys said beforehand "Nick we may have a server problem due to demand with this one" and he went "so what, f*ck it" ?? Or as IT people always do in my experience (sorry if you are one!) did they say "yeah our system is fantastic it won't let us down!"... and low and behold it couldn't cope, hence much frantic trying to devise a Plan B behind the scenes...

Granted maybe communication could have been a bit better, but if you don't know how long its gonna take to fix something, you can't tell people when it will be fixed.. It seemed pretty clear the print was gonna drop at some point, was just a game of patience..

To make up for the disappointment someone can have my TMA Empire print in mint condition for £1500.

Nobody is complaining (no?) about the fact of having a computer problem. It's just about how it has been handled. I think he had options (reschedule for example).
For my part, I had my laptop in my bed 5ing and I felt asleep just before the release!
This thread was kind of fun and made me stayed awake a little.... I'm not complaining about not having this print, the good news is I'm saving my money for Pow!

Isn't this enough for you all to realise and finally accept that nick is nothing but a bit of a del boy with some mediocre spray paint skills and doesn't deserve your time or money any more? come on, it was a seriously poor release and a lame way of him pocketing your hard earned. And don't even get me started on that tweet. Move on and support another artist i say.

refunds have started to come in now..

Ive heard of a couple of people that have been refunded, looks like there may now be even more people that will be upset/annoyed over the release - the sham rumbles on!!!

Whatever time the release`s are in the UK, our American counterparts always seem to bag the treasure before us brits, you guys have super super fast connections, we`ve barely moved on from old school dial-up compared to you guys Either way, most of us would just expect a UK release by a UK artist to be during the normal day time hours, its like Josh Keyes/Faile/MBW doing a 1am EST drop, surely that would seem a little odd to you too

Got to be said it's extremely sad how upset people get about a print release.

People having arguments with their family over this? FFS.

I can't have have nick walker on my walls, all on eBay over the weekend, can't be bothered to read all the posts , the guy has sold out, better art out there.... 

If I can't buy from flippers how am I gonna get my art?
