Shane Turner π¨π¦ New Paintings β’ Montreal Canada, by Shane Turner Art on May 25, 2015 12:23:35 GMT 1, Justdave Hope you like it man. Honestly I appreciate the interest from everyone here and elsewhere on the net in regards to my art. Nice to work with GP and be able to give something tangible away from time to time.

It is really cool to see prints with legit texture. Not 100% identical to my thick acrylics, but close as I've seen on a print to date. Especially when I'm so familiar with the original. Hopefully they don't get there anytime soon or I may be out of a job, haha. Honestly, majority of the credit goes to GP and his printer for wanting to take the risk to try something new with these expensive inks and hectic screening. My main role was giving the go ahead to stray from the original layering formula GP used on the 2.0 prints. My skills lie mainly in painting and drawing, screenprinting is still relatively new to me, so I'm always excited to let these guys cook up some new crazy stuff in their laboratory trying to replicate my work. The results have been great so far and that really is helpful to me in the long run, as sometimes people may not be able to see my originals. At the end of the day, if the prints weren't awesome, and/or representative of my work, I honestly wouldn't sign them. haha

Shane Turner π¨π¦ New Paintings β’ Montreal Canada, by Shane Turner Art on May 26, 2016 11:44:48 GMT 1, Hey everyone. I'm stoked to be back with a new screen-print of my 'Psychameleon - Transcendence' painting from graffitiprints.
Prints are 60x60cm on Fabriano 350gsm textured paper. Main colorway is an edition of 125 for 125Β£
Two variant colorways (Black and Gold), each an edition of 15 for 195Β£
All prints are signed and numbered.
Tried something different this time around with the paper to give the overall look even more similarity to the original paintings. Fabriano textured paper gives a similar feel to texture of canvas which contrasts well with the glossy smoother surface of the raised ink of the screen prints. As usual I'm super happy with GP's work on these, always pushing forward with new techniques on my prints and am always like a kid when I get to see the results of their hard work when I sign the prints. Hope you like them as well.
Main Colorway
Black Variant Gold Variant
Also for those who like vids, this is the making of the original painting on canvas:

Shane Turner π¨π¦ New Paintings β’ Montreal Canada, by Shane Turner Art on Sept 30, 2019 17:44:53 GMT 1, I think I'm gonna grab the black acrylic for daughters room Nice! Not sure if you grabbed one or not, but thanks foryour interest either way. Your daughter wouldn't be disappointed. Super fun and colourful piece especially on the Acrylic panel, adds some really interesting depth and gloss to the paintings.
I was initially skeptical when GP suggested painting on Acrylic sheets, but they pop like crazy, really fun stuff.
