Dran • I Love You, by Deleted on Aug 13, 2017 16:29:44 GMT 1, Was a better one with colour sig for sale on hangup just a few weeks ago originally for £4295 it didn't sell for 4 or 5 weeks then reduced to £3750 and it's now gone. Should give a recent indication of current gallery prices. It was reduced further to £2850 and was at that for at least 2 weeks before selling a few days ago.
That was a very good price then. Dran blows very hot and cold pricewise. His time will come again but perhaps it's more of a buyers' market right now.

i have removed the pending as this is still for sale after a few good old fashioned time wasters. have had a lot of "nibbles". actually in fairness, one person was not a time waster, but they wanted to pay $4250 plus fees for paypal goods.
pics and price are in the op, and i'll answer the typical questions here to help clarify further
payment is via paypal gift or bank transfer, have had a few offers for $4k, will hold firm at $4250 plus shipping, and dont want to sell it paypal goods.
would prefer a face to face and was asked if that offers special treatment for a deal. if you want to meet face to face for cash deal in new york city, that is always easier and can knock it down to 4100 for the mutual convenience.
have been trying to work with people, but when you get 30 messages deep and they go dark, it gets a little deflating. whatever, there are bigger problems in the world, but at this point need to close it out with the first person to commit, and if it doesnt happen soon, will just keep it. really not trying to come off as a hardo, i would just rather do something else with my time and i really do like the piece. i'm not threatening to go to the bay or anything like that, at some point just gonna pack it up and move on.

But making a statement that misrepresents the truth - $8K being “in line with recent private sales” - cannot be tolerated on here as it is simply not true and less educated buyers may rely on it. As far as I know, I purchased the most recent ILY from a solid board member approx a few months back for $4.3K USD. These ILY prints don’t trade/sell too often but I highly doubt another sold for approx 46% more since my purchase. Having said that, I’d be happy to be proven wrong (as I now own the print) but I’m not holding my breath either. Anyway, it’s a cracking print - and the OP can ask whatever they want for it - but they can’t misstate facts so that others rely on those “facts”. Ok, have a nice weekend!
