Last December we introduced you to the street paintings of Fintan Switzer (covered).
Fintan was so pleased with the reaction to the article that he welcomed us into his studio ahead of the release of
'Guerrillas In The Mist', his first body of work since becoming a full time artist.
Fintan has spent over six months painting 'Guerrillas in the Mist', which consists of six large paintings and six smaller studies. As he communicated to his mailing list last week (link), the body of work is inspired by the Arab Spring and the wider phenomenon of revolution throughout history. The artist poses a number of thought-provoking questions, such as what motivates revolutionaries? What binds them and what divides them? What role does art play in times of political and social upheaval? More importantly, is art used as a platform for awareness or does it have a more sinister role?
Although Fintan doesn't promise to answer any of the these questions, we've no doubt that 'Guerrillas in the Mist' will shock, inspire and impress.

Sadly was on the road myself and the pdf wouldn't open on my phone. Well, suited my finacial situation but hopefully things will look better next time.
