Instead they are aiming to attract the wealthy "contemporary art" crowd - those who would just walk into an art gallery on Bond Street one afternoon and say "I would like one of those, that one over there and this one please" and those who would just collect pieces and then put most of them in storage... $3k for them is nothing.
Good for Laz business. Bad for people like me who has limited cash for art.

Obviously anyone who bought those will struggle to recoup their cash, but against that background this new print isn't so stupidly priced.
