Blame the artist since he believes $1k is a fair price. I think he's been lurking EB a little too much. I was skeptical when I saw some of the kits hitting close to $2k, so we'll see if the new price is a game changer. |

He's done plenty of affordable prints and pieces up till recently and probably doesn't want to see his profit going to the secondary market.

Had the browser auto-refreshing every 2 seconds for the past 4 hours, scrambled from the couch to the computer when la space shop went live. Clicked 'add to cart'... site crashed. Closed window, new window, reload site, add to cart... success. Have receipt. Checked site immediately after successful order, SOLDOUT / EPUISร

And agree that the signature is pointless and just encourages people to stick them unopened in a drawer which defeats the object.

Regarding the time zone, we will do three different sales to allow people from everywhere to have a chance to get one.

The market on them is very up and down but they do sell regularly for a lot lot less than this... I hope flippers do get burned and i'm sure i'll still be able to pick up other kits for way less than ยฃ630 in the future... |
