Look don't get me wrong ยฃ28 for a 500 page book by an Artist and signed is a good value. However it now looks like you could have kept hold of your ยฃ36 and bought it in November. One bonus that will come out of it is, you know some flippers would have got their fingers burnt.

Yes and rightly so, I would have been happy to purchase this book without the sig, I've had it on my amazon wish list for a month but when I knew I'd missed out last night to individuals who bought for the wrong reasons I almost laughed when is purchased mine this morning...... I own a lot of Dface and this means a lot to get it signed regardless of edition size, and I will enjoy its contents way more than Mr I've purchased it because it's selling ......

Hello mate. I must admit that I did as you said. Saw it selling out and so I bought one. Sorry.
But if it makes a difference, I bought it to keep it.
And I was going to buy one anyway, because it looks like a smashing book. As I said, sold by the description of 500 colour photos. So it seems it will be substantial.
My moan about not liking pre orders on books remains my view. But obviously I don't feel strongly enough about it to not buy one. It was just a moan, not a strongly held opinion.
I am glad you have got one.
It bothers me not a jot that they have increased the signed edition over and above the original 100. That would only have made a difference to me had I intended to sell it, which I don't.
My art book collection would put many libraries to shame and that's the way I intend to keep it ;-)

It means the galley has my money in their account but I won't get the book until November! Why not just put them up for sale when they are ready to send them out?

I genuinely believe that I saw the website say that it was limited to 100 copies. I could be wrong. I'd had a few.
I bought one so I wouldn't miss out.

The drip feed is one method too often practiced... but saying you have a quantity of 50 remaining and then jumping up to 200 is a practice POW and Invader have yet to employ.
