CYW BANKSY - RED - 14K, by pidge on Sept 15, 2013 9:02:49 GMT 1, It's for the same reason people are paying up to ยฃ18,000 for the silver or gold...and ยฃ20k upwards for the white...these are all editions of 25 too, but as it's been explained over and over these are colour dependant and it comes down to the rarety of availability, Red is considered to be harder to find as they don't come up on the secondary very often and for us that remember first seeing the CYW image through the window of Marks & Stencils that day before even knowing that it was to be the next print, the image was the red example (hand finished) but considered to be an AP colour as it wasn't released on the day as an option to buy for any of us that queued. I'm not justifying the price on this one just offering up an idea of why these seem to command a premium...even before prices went mad, certain colours were always making more money then others. If its this one I'll give you ยฃ14K...
