ive looked at it from differnt angles the canvas looks a lot thinner than the other
here it is again just left of the roller rat, it looks like just a long roller pole lol.

Banksy - Better Out Than In - New York - BOTI, by Deleted on Apr 26, 2014 10:49:37 GMT 1, I talked to the security guy who oversaw the Central Park sale; it apparently only lasted for less than three hours, during which the price was initially around $120 per piece and gradually lowered to $60 (which was the price for the smallest pieces). The way it was described seemed much different from how it was portrayed in the video; like he was going to book it after selling 1 or 2 pieces regardless. I think the video was more of a prank/statement, basically.

I meant in the sense that the things in the video literally didn't happen that way. Not in the sense that the entire concept was a prank/statement.

Absolutely not; I actually live in the area so I walked by it often when it first went up - this door was gone after the first night, I believe. It was the first part taken, along with the cones. My friends and I thought it was taken by some random kids/omars (and maybe it was, then sold to this person) since everything else was still there. Then a day or two later the barrels went, and the random bits of the car.
And I agree that it looks bad on its own. If I were Banksy, I'd be upset that someone was showing this as my work, as this is a bit different than taking a whole piece and selling it off. This is like cutting Weston Super Mare in half and selling it as a Banksy. The image has lost all meaning, and isn't representative of the quality of work that Banksy makes.
