The tags doesn't float in mid air for no apparent reason. On that note please make this a print and I'll gladly replace it with my Whatson. It's not like a Whatson whatsoever. Whatson copied him so really this Banksy is like a Banksy.

I too was hoping for a massive statement piece but this one is a thing of beauty.
Do you think it's a self portrait? Why does it have a collar? Domesticated beast?
The blue and yellow on the wall make me think of the police and this cat is just chilling on it.

And this was done straight up in rush hour traffic. It can take an hour just to get to Yankee stadium from down town by car.

How he did this without being spotted is a mystery. I suspect it took this long because he had to keep going back to add to it. There are so many layers of paint and they are so cleanly represented on top of one another that I suspect he had to allow time for things to dry. It smells to my nose like he was using Montana spray (at least one layer had to have been done within the 1-2 hours prior to the reveal) and as great as that paint is, it doesn't come out that clean without dry time.

Montana solvent has a pretty distinct smell. Just like MTN smells like vanilla. |
