When someone posted a picture of it on here earlier I thought that was a bit of an odd ending but saw it as a kind of back to his roots thing...fine and all that but a bit meh...
Didn't check his site so so didn't realise it was INFLATABLE!

If I want a house that looks like the jaws 3d in back to the future and it's my land, I should be damn well entitled too.

Not sure if he did it intentionally but the song "Start Spreading the News" in the background is the last audio over the PA system at the end of every Yankee game forever.
So it's kind of nostalgic for us Yankee fans!!

Just a short long note to say BIG THANK YOU to our NY brethren - mr drach, AF, viva, kyleb, kob, dreadn, RobS, ath, pip, nah, in no particular order, those who flew over - mr frag, ap ... and anybody else that I may have missed out. You kept us informed, up to date, like Live News Reporters. Some great photos, vids, Inst and other links along the way - tyvm.
Oh yes! not forgetting our very own 'self proclaimed' 'worldwide' 'banksy expert'   .. mr wear .. who just could not keep himself out of the papers  and who, from some of his posts, has not slept for the past month!
I would also like to thank the other members from the UK for your cander, humour and interesting posts. It was also good to see contributions from Holland, Germany, NZ, HK, Kenya and everyone else 'just waking up' each day.
I did not log on during the day yesterday and had to catch up on 10 bloody pages before I came to the leopard!
I would also like to thank ... bloody hell this is not the Oscars ... but a little tear has come to my eye.  mr banksy (and his little helpers).
(PS: I will see, if I get the chance, (subject to permissions etc) to post the 'show end' pdf and hopefully TonyS wont miss it this time, otherwise he will be well p-ssed (again)  )

What a long, strange, awesome and amazing trip it's been!
Such an insane, beautifully perfect exclamation mark on what has been one of the most exciting paragraphs I've had the pleasure of living.

And yes, they also play it at Yankee games, I'm a fan...originally they played Sinatra's version at wins and Liza Minnelli's at losses but she complained so now it's Sinatra all the time.
Liza of course continued her losing streak by marrying David Gest. Rumors of the Staten Island "Ants" piece having anything to do with Liza Minnelli have been greatly exaggerated.

Frank Sinatra covered it 2 years later and pretty much made it his. It is a fitting closing song to his month long show. Cat Power does a wonderful cover of it btw. Personal highlights for me: OS Geomos collab, the stall, balloon, stripper piece
Lowlights: Plato, Ants, Reaper, beaver (although the guys were great)
Concept wise for me the real star of the entire month was the Meat Truck and the Stall, genius to fill the meat truck with cuddly toy animals and take it to the meat district! Secondly this forum showed why the Stall was fantastic, all the experts admitted they wouldn't have looked twice at the stall, the others who say they would have bought something then yeah we believe you!
Cheers for all the commentary and updates from the NY mob, made it fascinating to watch unfold before us all
