The buyer has fulfilled their obligation in providing the requested money for the goods and it is now for the supplier to provide said goods. If goods have been damaged and supplier isn't able to provide a suitable and acceptable alternative then refund is the only way to go - but it is a bit difficult trying to argue that you have 100 of the same items yet none are a suitable replacement......

Don't know how it is in the UK but over here in Germany the seller has the right to withdraw from a sale if it was offered to the general public, which was the case here. Only if a face to face deal is made the seller has to stick to it even if he changes his mind afterwards. |
