I fail to see the evolution of his work really. It's the same thing (which is fairly cool) just different subject matters. One of the biggest things I look at personally in collecting, especially originals, is some form of evolution.
Would love to hear the other side of this critism. Perhaps my mind could be changed.

But I have to say that like Dal I am still rocked by ROAs work. I feel that certain Dal pieces are not for me but others blow me away. I am not really into the cars so much as I feel that he hasn't worked them out yet. They seem too dense right now. But the paratrooper was unreal. The whale and diver in France was insane and had plenty to say. I also love adrenaline aesthetically. And the cheetah with training wheels is super fun.

I definitely haven't written Dal off by any means, but I am watching with a critical eye. To be fair with it all, ROA/Dal type works don't necessarity fit into my wheel house of what I am interested in art wise. It doesn't mean I don't respect it or enjoy it, but I just lose interest qucikly.
