DALeast's solo exhibition REDOK β a Tibetan phrase meaning "hope and fear" β features animal paintings in traditional portrait formats, taking inspiration from the commissioned works of the early modern era. The portraits are painted in the artist's distinctive, inspiring style. They include the tea-stained backgrounds which he lovingly builds over many months, that feature on many of his bravura gallery pieces.
REDOK also includes study sketches, a video installation, and limited edition etchings created by the artist at our Execution Dock print studio. These will be exclusively available to buy in person only at the private view which takes place from 6 'til 9pm on Thursday 21st of November, at which all are welcome to attend. Any remaining prints will be made available to purchase online the following day. Sorry, there will be no pre-sales or orders taken from those unable to attend, so please don't ask.

They're surely the least helpful gallery on this forum and contribute little by way of being a member but get plenty of free advertising in return. |

The image on the flyer, it's clearly an Alsatian Choir Boy.
Hopefully if there are prints then they'll be priced to market so the armchair speculators can prevent their F5 RSI from getting worse.....

Thought I post this in hope that there would be someone in the UK that would be willing to help me secure a print at the upcoming DALeast show at the Outsiders Newcastle on Nov 21st.
I'm based in San Francisco and would be more than willing to help out on any show or print drop here or if I go down to LA for a show. Basically, we could help each other out on our side of the pond. Of course I will be paying all costs to secure the print and shipping. If someone see's the win/win here shoot me a message and let's work out the details.
