STIK street art stolen in London last night., by sierrahotel on Nov 10, 2013 21:28:28 GMT 1, I assumed the one on Broadway Market just got sold. Having art on a handily removable piece of wood on the street is asking for trouble. Get it painted directly onto the wall if you can get away with it.

Isn't the entire idea behind street art that it's a rogue act of sorts and thus temporary in nature?

I buy pieces for memories an I had a lot of fond memories down in London an wanted to have somethin from him to symbolise this. Hence why I collect invader as he was what I used to see all over Amsterdam 8 years ago an again proper good memories so havin pieces by these artist really means somethin to me. An obviously I've got well into kunstrasen cos I love his work an attitude an right now I'm in a new chapter of life with new memories

I spoke to him the other day about pieces, and I'm also out priced from the game. Thats how it goes though eh? if he has demand at higher prices then why would he do them for less? And if he didn't, surely he'd have taken your money?

STIK street art stolen in London last night., by swamped on Nov 11, 2013 22:53:12 GMT 1, We were in london east end for our first time five years ago and stik was all over the place, we even saw him doing a image when walking by mid day. One guy was taking a plywood board he did about twenty feet away from him so i asked stik dont you care? He said if it stays up 24 hrs without being taken or painted over it was a success, you just put up more when they vanish. So i doubt stik or other artist care or are supprised when fans take there works off the streets..... I know i should have grabbed something but we didn't. To busy dping my own painting At the time...best.

Screw it ill stick with my free poster. An I don't fancy buyin somethin like that on eBay with no coa Alright, I'll deconstruct this one. The Japanese prints were on the open market, I know, I bought them without any winks or nods, it was simply a race to get them as it's not only things advertised on here go on sale.
His rates have though been high since the Graffik show, where he was still doing canvases for sub ยฃ1k (particularly at this price of below if you were mates with him). The Graffik show was not that long ago by the way. But as far as I know he's in a position now not to have to take on multiple commissions, which is entirely his prerogative and shows I assume that he's more than happy to work primarily with galleries. As to doodles, he's an incredibly generous person with his time and in numerous meetings with him I've never seen him turn someone down, so if you're ever in London, I'd be amazed if he said no. Not having a go, but I bet if it was Kaws or such like such comments wouldn't spring up.

And if he didn't, surely he'd have taken your money? Hey Tartarus, like yourself i also own work by Stik, i got a couple from Graffik in 2011, but i can see where people are coming from when he wont entertain an A3 doodle for 1/2k.... Dont get me wrong i love his work on the street, but i think its going a little crazy price wise to own an original..... how many galley shows has he had, like 4 ?
Personnely theres a lot of artists id buy work from before him at current market prices.... Buts its all opinion, im very happy with the pieces i have and i woudlnt let them go, they signify an interesting part of my life in the east end.... but again, at 2k + for a canvas id be all over Etam Cru, Stephanie Buer, Banksy prints etc...

Just for the record kaws has signed and doodled everything I have asked on
He told me I'm in the market for a print after I said my budget was a 1000-2000 if that's what it took to get a small doodle on mini canvas or thick paper. Look what happened with the japenese prints. Sold before they were for general sale and yeah I would like one from New York but I don't fancy giving him my money now tbf. Why bring Kaws into it ? Just for the record kaws has signed and doodled everything I have asked on
