I've often wondered about this stencil, hidden in the stairwell on the back of a partition at the Marks and Stencils show. It was only a few cm high and I struggled to get a shot off in the near dark. It's possibly a bit 'clean' for Banksy but it does remind me of some of his other smaller stencils. It says alongside 'This is part of the show... (What do you fink?)'
Anyone remember it/know who did it?

There were photographic prints available of some on Banksy's early street pieces, such as the freehand piece he did for the "Walls on Fire" event and also another freehand street piece of a robotic scorpion. I remember seeing one back in 2000-2005 on ebay. I seem to remember it was on vinyl or something ?? I remember even then thinking is this the bargain of all time of a fake. But it was pre fakes, and hype. Ive allways wondered what I ( or if I ) missed out on

I've never seen or heard of anything like that, you could try asking Pest Control.

Before the Marks and Stencils show opened, Banksy installed a temporary animatronic sculpture in the vacant space, here's my video of it:

In 2002, the Urban Discipline took place for the last time so far. On ca. 1500 mยฒ exhibition ground in the old Astra brewery in Hamburg, more than 30 artists from all over the world met to give evidence that some Graffiti is different to other Graffiti. The location was just perfect for the exhibition: almost unlimited exhibition grounds, a courtyard allowing to create a giant mural.
The exhibition went beyond the scope of many things: an enormous variety of styles was being showed, mentalities from all over the world met and many projects were realized.
Artists like Zedz from Amsterdam, Banksy from the UK, Stak from France, Nami/La Mano from Spain, Nina, Herbert, Vitche, the Os Gemeos from Brazil and many other from all over the world showed an impressive variety of how Graffiti can be interpreted.
