Interested to know why youโre assuming it to be an editioned original? At that distance the image looks identical to the box sets which would suggest to me itโs far more likely to be a print. If indeed thatโs the case, I am pretty sure the people on here who would know are unlikely to confirm this.

Gunningham do carry a striking resemblance. I think this specific farcical style appears only here, if I am not mistaken. Later Banksy clowns are more scary.

Iโve asked around about this and I donโt think thereโs any truth in this. The Graff writers Iโve spoke to have no memories of him. Heโs roughly my age and I am still in touch with a couple of the prolific writers of that era and thereโs no trace of him. Two stencil images have surfaced but I think probably faked from the 2000โs. Not saying itโs impossible but I canโt find any links yet which I think is odd if itโs true.

The backdrop is a building exterior or wall in Central London somewhere - it looks really familiar so bound to be around some landmark or focal point of the marches.
