Early Banksy Art, by moron on Nov 9, 2019 20:12:11 GMT 1, anyone know where this one was from ? (Copper on far right is the same stencil seen below) What is the message in the image below of the child being given drugs? It's depicting child abuse and surely not condoning legalising cannabis for children?

I always saw this as comment on the (morally) corrupt police.

Early Banksy Art, by Deleted on Nov 15, 2019 16:55:49 GMT 1, I saw that in MOCO Amsterdam last month, but dismissed it as fake. Is it really a confirmed Banksy piece? The style is wrong especially for 2002. And I've never seen pictures of it before. I'll be damned. There it is in the background (to the left): Indeed. Good to know my memory isn't failing me... yet. But I agree, far from his best work.

It's depicting child abuse and surely not condoning legalising cannabis for children? I always saw this as comment on the (morally) corrupt police. Morally corrupt police is an understatement in some parts of the UK. Especially in places like Rotherham and Rochdale. There again so are the Labour run council there. Although I think most police and local politicians are not corrupt and ignore corruption for the sake of a quiet life and keeping their jobs.
It's cool that Banksy makes these witticistic observations about the police and not about the music, film, entertainment, art industry etc.

Those other industries aren’t authoritarian representatives of the state are they..
