Danny O'Connor π¬π§ DOC Street Artist β’ New Print Release, by Danny O'Connor on Jun 7, 2008 23:54:55 GMT 1, I saw a photo in the local rag which I just really liked, a couple of old ladies and a fella with a hand full of sovereign rings in front of a block of council flats.
I've made a quick sketch of the image and I'm thinking of doing a painting.
The detailed sketch is of the woman in the middle.
Let me know if you think this will work as a painting.

received and put those super splishy splashy paint jobs on my wall in the meantime:
i am absolutely enthusiastic about this man's talent!
those paintings really have museum- quality!
plus he is an absolute pleasure to deal with, packs very, very carefully, sends fast and even draws nice c.o.a.'s by hand (but you have to buy something from doc yourself to see them  ).

I've started off with Jack Kerouac.
acrylic and emulsion on canvas 120cm x 90cm
The photo on the 1st pic isn't great due to the camera flash, I think it looks a lot better in the flesh.
I'll post pics of the rest of the portraits as I do them.
Let me know what you think.
