I laboured over this for ages. I just couldn't get it right. Finally managed to get it to a point I'm pleased with.

Mixed Media Collage, Acrylic, Emulsion, Gloss and Correction Marker on Plywood. Measures 24x18inches
I printed my original digital design on to archival fine art paper, then tore the print into sections before glueing it together again onto the plywood. I still wanted the tares to be visible to add a more gritty tactile feel. I then worked into it with paints. I'm thinking a super hi-gloss varnish might set this off.
