I'd feel embarassed releasing them, but saying that the massive amount of money in my pocket would probably soften the blow Those Banksy pieces are nothing like these. I don't know why every thread about Dolk has to result in people comparing his stuff to Banksy's stuff.
I don't understand it either. It's like comparing Real Madrid with Accrington Stanley.

I think when you use one layer stencils and it looks like Banksys (or Bleks) work there is always going to be comparisons made. When you adapt the technique and form your own style then the comparisons stop.

How many other artist, outside street art, would you have to compare to each other then...how many artists would be too similar to each other? In my eyes there is a big difference in the style between Dolk and Banksy. Only the difference in spraying technique rules out the comparisons made on here in my opinion... |

Again, I am not insulting Dolk, and you are welcome to your own view. For me his work has always been very similar to Banksys and there will always be a comparison with Banksy. This is just my opinion.

Not necessarily true. You could get lucky and not have to pay for customs at all. I've been lucky before when receiving two items from HMP Prison Painter and Boxer.
The time I did get a customs charge was for (Leap and Bomb Suit) but it was only £20 (from memory)

After that they started bubble wrapping them - weird logic as cant see how bubble wrap stops a tube being crushed.......must work mind as mine have been in perfect condition ever since |

Banksy's not that bad mate, more of a mid table Premiership than Accrington Stanley I'd say.

I'm a Dolk fan but I really don't like these either. I saw the original canvas of Graffiti Remover at his Bergen show (his first oil painting) and didn't think much then and Angels isn't much better.
He's got some great images either on the street or as canvases that have never made it to a print that would have been a much better choice than these two.

I bet these don't sell out straight away with the onslaught of prints that have been released recently. Wish he had released that lady with the cucumber eyes from the last show.
