These are very saught after and you will no longer grab a bargain on these! I know for a fact that the cost of the red has doubled in the last 4/5 months. There are alot of these about but there are also a lot of people wanting them. That age old supply and demand thing eh? I seem to remember people being slated when Nola broke the 5k mark. That wasn't too long ago! Look at all the hype that one post has created, the guy is just trying to sell a print. If no one was interested there would be no response. Any print that creates this kind of hype is obviously a popular one. A print is only worth what people will pay for it. Again, good luck.

Its a bit of paper with a bit of silkscreening on it and a squiggle, which may or may not have been done by someone from Bristol*
For that kind of money you could buy a house or two in the North East, travel the world to a year and stay in proper hotels, buy a 911 and write it off on the Nurbergring, invest a leica and have enough left over to set up a photog business, have a week of coke fuelled hell in Ibiza and still have enough left to bung a five figure sum into a charity or good cause of your choice and make a massive difference to someone life
get it perspective- dump the print and do something with the money- there is a limited stock of idiocy around, jump in whilst you can

Some people have been pursuing the same piece of art for years, so when one pops up people offer (well) above the value just to secure it. I also don't understand why nobody ever considers the amount of different colourways there are of these, a lot of the collectors on here come under the "limited collectors" umbrella eg. I'm guessing a lot of people on here collect things like records, limited edition trainers/sneakers (stamps - maybe not stamps :/) art books etc. so a lot of those kind of collectors like purchasing the same thing in a few colourways etc and building up a collection to become a set. So if you list a piece and don't stick a price on it then expect some smartarse (usually me) to critique, if you do stick a price on it and that creates jealousy or encourages people with the same piece to state that it's cheap then that's the way it goes.
Specifically in relation to this thread, then the OP's stuck a price on which I can't afford and (to me) is mind boggling but there you go. Shoulda, woulda, coulda - but didn't.

Be it offering too little or expecting too much.
