I've lost track of the number of times I've been negotiating only for the seller to drop comms. Hilariously I was chatting to someone about a trade for a piece of mine which I'd hugely undervalued - glad that one dropped comms now!

I've heard Os Gemeos are not going to be releasing another print. This will allegedly be their one and only official signed fine art print.
It is no secret that their next show will be with Lehmann Maupin - so expect prices to go stratospheric.
This low edition print, already the most affordable piece you can purchase, will disappear from the secondary market by next year as they end up with collectors of this genre/style.
Good luck with your sale - I could never part with mine - an instant classic in my opinion.

Since then the twins have been bitterly disappointed witnessing the blatant flipping of this print all over the web. There is a reason they don't like selling to the UK market and control their originals tightly.
No hype - I would argue just providing the balance and an alternative perspective to the posts above.
A little like you posting about how undervalued the AEC was on another thread...unlike me who posted full disclosure of owning the Os Gem print - you didn't qualify if you own any Interesni Kazki? Grade A hype? Maybe you are the one that is guilty? No?

Oh, and eschiff, what agenda do I have against the twins? I think they are great artists, and would love to own one of their paintings. My comments surrounding this release was regarding the manner in which it was released and the hype from those looking to cash in, which has become quite apparent as it seems almost half of the run has hit the market at one point or another.

I'm stating a fact of what gallery pricing is based on their current exhibition. Whether I own any of IK's art is irrelevant, as my comment is factual, not speculative like yours. Feel free to contact Studio Cromie to confirm pricing if you think I'm blowing smoke. Oh, and eschiff, what agenda do I have against the twins?
