Don't be sorry. It's a forum where people can express their ideas and feelings. But look on the bright side, there is a valid reason why no one has talked about how beautiful or ugly the print is.

We are starting to build our house end of the year and I have to sell some art therefore.
At the moment these things are for sale:
Os Gemeos - The Other Side
Pejac - Meadow
Pejac - Heavy Sea
Faile - Works on Wood - Special Edition Berlin
The prints are stored flat and in perfect condition. Of course I can provide pictures!
I would prefer - especially for the Os Gemeos print - a pickup in person. I´m living near airport munich and we can surely arrange a meeting within europe nearby any airport.

Whist I agree with your sentiments in general, I don't regret the comments I made about the price of this print.

I think the rule you are referring to relates to individuals not starting lots of threads for each item they are selling. There is not a rule saying you can't hijack someone else's for sale or thread, as far as I am aware. But it is generally considered to be poor form.

I don't really get Stik as an artist but obviously a great guy, have aired this in the past . Haven't ever tried to buy a print and won't be in the future but I do keep away from things that don't interest me on here now.
I would love one of these but it's just not going to happen.
The main three types of punter on this thread are, those that have the money and love OS Gemeos also want to buy but are a little worried about the ROI at some point later. Flippers looking for a quick big buck. People that can't afford it so just run it/them down. All talked up/down in different methods, happens all too much now. Far too much money involved for a signed print hardly anyone has seen.

Banksy has overtaken them but only on the last few years.
If these were priced at £450 then they would be immediately flipped out at the price that seems to have been set - maybe even more. By bringing this in at such a high-price point it removes the flippers (maybe some long-term speculators will still go for it) and therefore will be taken up by (the more wealthy) collectors. It's a shame it isn't priced for the masses but the reality is doing that would only fuel the hypers and flippers.
I also take it that this is a traditional Lithograph meaning the the print is painted by hand onto the stones and then printed onto the paper - the skills involved in producing this print are an art-form in their own.

Good luck to those trying. Had this been a stronger image I may have gone for it. Next one will probably be 10k from source so this could be a "last chance" for most collectors.
