I love the integration of the image and the building. The 3D effect puts an emphasis of the bland guy in the suit being used as a slingshot, whose cruciform shape is repeated in the shadow. The real stunner for me is the Oil Tycoon with his pasty white skin and eyes cleverly contrived to shift in the wind. Incorporating the top windows, stone urns and the balcony struts, this lumpy old white man wears a golden crown, ringed with oil company logos. I can't help but think of the thousands of gallons of oil uncontrollably pumping into the Gulf of Mexico when I see the "green" jewel of BP. But what I see here most is greed as he sucks South America (perhaps Brazil) dry with a bendy straw. Beyond being visually stunning, I think this piece is amazing in its message.
