From the small phone conversation I had with them, they seem to be used to dealing with the A list type people of LA, one of the owners is an Australian it boy I think, I was told, they are all big canvas's you know" !! so meaning big bucks. nothing I didn't already know.

Pavil is special since it was the first one, Cavaleiro Marginal is a great design and is very hard to get hold of...
The first time I saw Os Gemeos was in 1999 through the magazine they used to design called Fiz...
You can still pick up some of the issues - saw one here although its not the best one...

I'm philosophical about it - I should scan some stuff one day - when we had the Street Sketchbook Journeys show there were lots of sketches on show from artists like Interesni Kazki, Stinkfish, Titifreak, Sam3 etc... It would be a big job getting it all online...

most of the time PDFs are too big to post as an attachment to the post.. the maximum is 1 mb.. Very annoying if you ask me!

There was also a dark room that had a large 8x10ft video screen where you could grab those face boxes moving across the screen and spin them and stop there forward motion. It was pretty cool. My lady was "doing it" with Paris Hilton on the light board for awhile ;D. Paris and Nikki were telling their entourage to take pics of them. Retna was there as well, as I am sure many other people of interest were too. The twins were there in matching suits and ties, getting mobbed by the crowd.
A pretentious LA crowd for sure. Lots of sniffing coke-heads. Some people were actually touching the artwork. I saw a big smudge line on one of the pieces where it looked like someone had dragged a dirty finger across the center of the piece. Kind of hard to take photos with all the people posing for pictures in front of the art. They had those light up faces mounted to the floor all over the place and the crowd was so dense, that people were walking into them and knocking out the lights.
All the artwork was sold. Looking thru the sales book I would say the average price was $100,000.
