i agree its very expensive. A print from source at 300-500 is expensive to me. It's only rass's on forums like this that hype the hell out of stuff an push the prices higher. I don't think ill ever be able to afford an alias straight up but willing to save to acquire one day. Invader means alot to me as his pieces hold a lot of memories from the past so he's on a different level to me. Different to just liking his work.

I collect of his what I can afford. I don't get sore about anything I can't afford, I just enjoy looking. At the end of the day he's a street artist so I get the most enjoyment seeing his pieces across the world. I'd be happy if he stopped releasing things. I don't have a mad collection. I've no need to hype anything I have up I just like invader alot and love seeing new stuff from him regardless if any things for sale. Anyways enough on that.
These 2 new pieces are amazing and hope to see a few new pieces in the street soon! Flappy bird has gotta go up in Newcastle. Surely

Just to recap real fast in the past few hours Invader has been compared to Os Gemeos (fair circuit, major gallery representation, solid auction results, and years upon years of street work) and to, yes I had to double check, Jackson Pollock. Outside of the rubik pieces, which I also think are hit and miss, I do not understand how these prices are justified. If hitting the streets for 15 years is all it takes then I know a lot of guys in the bronx who will give you a sketch on paper for a steal of a price. I do understand where these prices come from and that is Laz. Now here is a quick lesson for you - Anyone who has been collecting in this scene for a while knows the classic Laz way of pushing prices higher and higher and higher until you price everyone out. Dont forget that he will provide zero auction support and then he just takes his money he made and moves onto the next young artist with dollar signs in their eyes. If anything I would think a hardcore fan like yourself would be upset that this price point has been placed on this type of piece. These types of works should be affordable and priced for people who can't afford a rubik or an alias.

Y buy any artists work wen it cud usually be easily replicated for pennies. You buy it because you like the artist, the image and u buy it because it has rarity and value, even if its hugely dependent on hype/demand. I don't buy everything that's released. I'm not greedy. I have a normal job (full time care assistant) and I buy of invaders what I can. We're all entitled to our opinions so if I think it's mad that someone would spend 3500 on a first print that's fine. If someone thinks I'm mad for thinkin 8g for a hand drawn original of that size from someone like invader then that's fine. If people on this forum can't see the difference when I can thats fine. I'm chilled. I always am I Spose as I have 420 on my name ha gotta keep bringin that up aint ya : p

I have a normal job (full time care assistant) and I buy of invaders what I can. We're all entitled to our opinions so if I think it's mad that someone would spend 3500 on a first print that's fine. If someone thinks I'm mad for thinkin 8g for a hand drawn original of that size from someone like invader then that's fine. If people on this forum can't see the difference when I can thats fine. I'm chilled. I always am I Spose as I have 420 on my name ha gotta keep bringin that up aint ya : p
