The majority of this forum has the same disussions every day! 
Or maybe people are just blowing money on cocaine and prostitutes!
Broken record here... just buy stuff you'll like, even if in 10 years it's worth exactly what you paid for it.

Why are people selling everything?, by CR on Dec 12, 2007 22:59:30 GMT 1, I was fairly new to the scene this time last year and Banksy had just had his LA show and things were going crazy, so I guess I wasn't paying attention to the old stuff on ebay, just trying to get a micallef at cost!!
I guess your right, although this year I reckon flippers will be making a loss on anything bought from SG and sold on ebay!
I reckon the Banksy print will be a huge edition or an open edition and it will be neither sale ends or festival and will be something like flags - all unsigned!
I can't wait!

your right RBK just buy what u like whats the point buying something for £400 £500 and not even going to put it on your wall sad lifes they must live i hope banksy does bring out a open ed so more people can get his work to put up at a real cheap price

If Mike and Lesroy are selling what you think is ALL of their collection to keep a few special pieces....
...What the hell must be in the rest of the collection?!
Onwards and upwards guys.... I have bought ALOT... and all of a sudden you realise that you have 20.... 30... prints that you "really like" but after the test of time... you dont actually "LOVE" them.
Now I sell a job lot for giveaway money on the forum (to help fellow collectors)... and invest in a one off special piece that you just adore.
Some of my prints will never be sold! Hell, one of the ones I bought a year back is still in safe-keeping as I can't bear to get it on the walls.
So all in all... a little clearout helps everyone... relax and snap up the bargains!

For a second there I thought you were considering constructing a conveyor belt from which to hang off your prints like they do for displaying T Shirts in Tokyo shops.
Actually, now that I'm almost out of walls myself, thats not a bad option lol
