They reopen the thread when there is confirmed news.... Just sayin' (But it may not be a bad idea if a mod stepped in and put the thread out of it's misery). Your last point I agree with but the forum becoming more like RAWK would kill this place off. The mods over there run it like a dictatorship, closing threads for the slightest thing and don't even dare to have an independent view, you'll be banned within seconds. The whole place is like a cult

I think that the comment seals the deal that GP knows exactly who the artist is, was aware of the marketing plan, decided to take part in it. Hopefully the stunt has created some fans and not just detractors, but i think this thread proves that the detractors will have a long memory. Indeed, it's a sad day for GP using terms such as passing off regarding someone else potentially selling OUTIS work. And it's a sad day for the concept that is/was OUTIS. The simple idea that anyone can achieve success off the back of well-timed positioning, slick'ish appearances and non-confrontation or rebuttal from powers-that-be (sounds a bit like jimmy saville now). It would have been great if there were fake fake OUTIS pop-ups, and it was allowed to spiral as it already has been intended. But no, GP has authority to over-ride this and will pursue (by the sounds of it) anyone trying to replicate this OUTIS for their own gain. Because only OUTIS and GP should be rewarded for using someone else's hard worked style and image-making abilities for their own financial gain, who dares dilute that fickle balance. |

So far this week a Dog (Bonkers) which i have adoptified has chewed and eaten a sock / part of a thermal vest / elastic from leg of long Johns / a bit of blanket, today its morning turd looks like Lady Gaga's summer wardrobe. Most interesting post on this whole thread |
