shopify? i think all of us pretty much use it these days. Handles traffic perfectly. I dont know how you guys like big cartel sometimes. If I seriously made you wait 3 hours to get a print and ruined your day refreshing hoping it drops, I would feel bad.

for 95% of the time, the print is supposed to be held in your cart while you're putting in your info. Hence why there is a delay from a full sell out. Those last 9 lingered in there for 8 minutes.

The other 5% of the time is David Welker, a Star Wars Release and now Bisser. I have no clue why it does that. The only thing I can think of is that if you and someone else get there exactly at the same time, you sort of push through but then it realizes you shouldn't have been pushed through.

Either way, shopify is incredible for traffic. Its basically smooth unless its a very high traffic item and the checkout process bounces back. Have you ordered from us before?

I meant traffic as in a sense of not crashing the site. Usually it works perfectly. This is the first time on UTB where a checkout bounced back for some. We unfortunately have to see it on Bottleneck on a few releases that have 4,000+ going for it.

If it was already in someone else's cart before you, it doesnt matter whether or not you have one in YOUR cart. Technically, you have nothing in your cart. If it says "no inventory" or shows 3 (or however many) remaining and you get to checkout and theres an "inventory" issue, you never really had one in your cart. That 3 (or however many) that are showing are in other peoples carts ahead of you that have yet to be purchased. Only way to ever win in any system (unless its a hold system like big cartel) is to get in and out as quickly as possible. Hope that helps to clear it up a bit. And shopify is great because it doesnt crash and burn like tons of other systems. It is a bit annoying in that it will allow you to cart, go through the steps and then get told theres no inventory but you just need to know this: if that happens, others carted and are checking out before you so keep trying until its absolutely goner.

I'll try the same next time i get pulled over for speeding. Its a bit strange and i wish i knew EXACTLY how it works but i dont. I've seen it from both sides of the fence and its still a bit hazy to me. I think that the actual hold comes at the asterisk after you get from business site > paypal >** back to business site to confirm/pay. On the positive side, at least the site doesnt crash for 20 minutes!! Oh well for me too...i missed also. Cheers and good luck to everyone manana.
