Part of that approach ensures that you can get some critique for being derivative if you dont extend far enough away from the source (IMHO) and in this case taking the exact Basquiat line work and wording and putting it on a different subject is too close for comfort for me.

It really does look great in flesh. And after 5 years of collecting I managed to score a number 1 of an edition...nice side point to this great print.
