If you have to ask you can't afford it. I really don't think that saying applies to urban art, or art as a whole. I think most people on this board could afford most releases if they really wanted too, it's more about prioritising which releases are going to compliment your collection or make it on to the wall, I really like this print but I'm not really willing to pay a huge price for it as I already have two 100 x 70 pieces by Hush on display and another will be over doing it but then again if it was a good price I am sure I could make room for it. I picked up the rouge 1 print but let it go for cost, not because I needed the money, after seeing it in person I didn't think it was going to find a place in my collection. |

What's the edition size and price?
I'm personally boycotting galleries that wait until the drop to release the price and edition size. Not that they care. But it comes across as a lack of respect for your customers.

They were going to keep that info secret until the release, but relented when people complained about having to wake up at 4 a.m. in the U.S. with no information.
Their solution this time around seems to be to push back the release time and to ignore our complaints. Essentially telling us to fuck off. The release time happens to be exactly when I leave for work, so I'd have go in early and buy it at work. I'm not going to alter my schedule not knowing what it looks like, the price, or the edition size. I love Hush's work. But the galleries pulling this shit can seriously go fuck themselves.
