It may be that he already has a strong fan base and the galleries and just letting supply and demand do its thing. I asked for the pdf in order to pick up one of the hand finished prints but balked at the asking price.

He's great, but so are other artists; I don't know what he could do in the coming months to justify that price. And there are always other hand finished prints.

Quick question, how are they printed, the texture of the painting in the photos looks like it'll be a giclee? Unless it's mucho screened colours... now that would be impressive (I wont't mention halftone).
Be interested to see one in the flesh.

Be interested to see one in the flesh. yeah giclee or Archival Pigment Print on Hahnemรผhle Photo Rag 308gsm i would love to screen his work but yes its the tones in the oil paint that make it super tough to screen.. |
