His website has been blank for a while now (apart from the shirt/charity thing). Really wondering whether he will break this 'silence' to verify the piece.

There is an overnight patrol looking after this piece tonight because of threats of being destroyed and council has said it will protect it from tomorrow.

The point has been made and the message is out there. Job done. If you want to photograph a clean Banksy then you have to make an effort to get there while the paint is still wet.

If it gets buffed so be it. It's the nature of street art.
Worst outcome is it gets covered in Perspex. Or cut out to be sold.
I'd much rather it was buffed or tagged.
Of course it would be nicer if it was left alone completely for a while, but I doubt that's going to happen.

There's a local tool who just wrecks stuff down there lots of good things happening in Cheltenham and the community and council embracing it so they are obviously going to be defensive about something lime this .
I don't care personally as long as I can get a few photos tomorrow I'm happy ,its happened it's on the wall and enjoy it whatever way you see fit and I prefer them weathered and aged ,a bit like my women too.

To do this piece it looks like the stencils had to be big and quite a few to lug around so amazing how Banksy if it was him does it all by himself.
Or is it a quick hit job these days, pull up in a van and a well rehearsed team hold up and spray the whole thing in ten minutes?
