I still think it's unlikely he'll release it, but kind of wish he'd just flood the market with a bout of new releases, partly to have a negative impact on sales such as the one in London
Same here. I was only saying a few hours ago that I would never own one but there is some slight hope again here. Prob won't even get one even if it is released as so many just want to make quick money on it

Just heard of a lot of artists being quite disillusioned with the market at the moment- too many people just trying to make money off other people and it not being about the art. I am a bit confused by the argument that he doesn't need to. He obviously loves creating art, so why wouldn't he? Selling prints has nothing to do with creating art. He's already created the image. I can't see him releasing a new print as it would be an absolute mess no matter how it was handled. Appreciate the art for what it is; we don't need a print on the wall to appreciate it. |
