I mean 35! Out of 200. Mostly from the states. Is this a record. I have written to soph at the j g site. I think from ier response that she is also shocked by this number too. Not sure if they will do anything. Imo if they were to cancel a few orders it would send a message out.? all the flippers from expressobeans will flood the secondary market with this print... I think. told you...  expressoflippers voted a perfect vacuum print of the year '11... they will buy and flip any Geddes release from now on.
When they voted it print of the year were they referring to it in artistic terms or profit terms?!

Also, his paintings are very detailed. One of them can take months to finish.

I see many $45 - $60 pieces commanding 4x. Yes, I think that one on the bay will go for $2500. Heat Death went for $2900 just 2 days ago. As far as prices coming down, maybe, but I think getting this for $1000 may not happen again.

Jeremy's popularity will increase, larger future editions will satisfy demand/potentially also increase fan base and older rarer/smaller edition size prints will rise in price.... Of course any prediction is currently hypothetical, but Jeremy is clearly talented and looks set for a good future.

I don't think that will affect the prices of his 'older' ( here: those that could have been bought from source one year ago) prints, like cafe, heat death, the street, etc. ... they will be more sought after because of their small edition size... but for his new or timed releases prices will be moderate and prints still to be had for affordable prices even on the secondary market... just my guess of course

Being Expressobeans 2011 print of the year will keep this one a bit high as it will show up on the homepage every time someone goes there. People didnt think that Eelus "not everything..." would stay so high and it has... it was print of the year 2010.
Funny thing is that at the time this was released many people on here were moaning about it not being an astronaut blah blah

I don't see why this is so shocking - if you release something with a guaranteed 200% profit then you shouldn't be entirely shocked when people profit from that?
Bloke walked down my train carriage the other day begging for 50p from every passenger.....
Cancelling orders wouldn't achieve anything other than flippers actually waiting for the print in hand before selling. Pricing correctly (ish) from source might deter a few.......

Great Artist, managed to pick up one piece from source and three more from secondary. Paid ยฃ300 for red cosmo in the summer last year and was told I was mad as this was a bubble waiting to burst.
Fortunately got all 3 secondary mkt pieces for less than the going rate for any one of his pieces now ;D
Unfortunately there are still some classics I turned down last year and now will never have them.....unless that bubble bursts

I actually agree....My comment was more about what would stop the 'flipping' in general.
The other way of course is not to buy at the inflated price offered by sellers immediately after missing a release, but there'll always be someone who does, that then sets a precedent in the new price benchmark.
Overall though, I'm of the opinion you own it, do what you want with it. If you can sell it for 1000% profit, your choice and fair enough. I'm not going to get hung up on it nor do I have to buy at the price offered. Patience can often be a virtue, that art lovers sometimes forget....I know, I'm terrible on that front sometimes!
