Very true Coach as like the UKIP thread this thread in a sense asks for racist comments. Eg this is an open forum for art. People have many different views on subjects. It is not the place to read the crap on the thick as fuck thread

Which went from racism, to sectarianism, to sexism and fuck knows what else.pretty sure everyone can start political threads regardless of what their into but as mentioned it is an art forum and there is plenty of art and artists around the world that confront and look at these issues. Slammer on the other hand has not really bothered to look for some art with a point to make he has just run a link to the first thing he saw on the BBC.

The piece in question is neither particularly well edited, put together or translated that well. Neither does it appear that Slammer has any great point to make about the piece etc just appears that he has nothing better to do

Two racism threads in two days is a bit much. Likewise as pointed out if you read and I did ask him what's his point? Likewise as mentioned it only attracts the type of comments on the UKIP thread just pointless really. Not sure we need race debates everyday

There will always be debates on the forum that's the points. Unlike slammers commented I fully understood Coaches point and post and agreed with it

However I do want to read the diatribe in the thick as fuck thread everyday. So if everyone wants let's do a Muslim thread , whether Northern Ireland should be part of ZgB or Eire, Immigration is always a winner etc etc
my point was Slammer seemed to have no point with this thread and zi was right as it has started this I suppose so he was successful. 

No Slammer....read Coaches post he says racism and activism have a place. I agree with that see and read my post. There are plenty of art based things to do that from.

My old mam married a Jamaican guy when I was 7, I had my first proper fist fight at 10 when someone called my kid brother a ni**er, by the age of 13 I had 2 more mixed race brothers and sometimes carried a knife, I had more than a few scars and bruises,  the NF on council estates in the 70's were unforgiving, but we learned to fight back. My dad (RIP) then married a Pakistani woman and we welcomed a mixed race sister into the family. Ten years too late, Benetton brought out the "United colours of Benetton" campaign and things became more accepted. Since then I've had a Norwegian son, Nick the oldest mixed race brother married a Lithuanian and has a mix race daughter who's English/Lithuanian/Jamaican and my kid brother is married to a Japanese gal.

My interest in art came indirectly through activism via racism, from fighting the NF, as mods and anti racist skins to being a casual, service crew, violence, and finally later in life, college, where art mixed with politics and turned into activism, then settled into more art..and then..well, here we are. Listening to the same old s**t.

Most people on here understand racism but now Andy is here we know not everyone does.

He gives his views you give yours etc it's already been done just a couple of days ago.

I don't want your life story mate just as I am sure you do not want mine. But also put something better on if your gonna do it. Likewise you do not need a life story to make a point.
