We are very excited to announce that Otto Schade will be exhibiting in a solo show at Well Hung Gallery,Hoxton, opening night 23rd July 18:00–21:00

The exhibition showcases the range and depth of Otto’s works. Presenting 4 new full-scale paintings, a series of new screen prints and a collection from the Orb series. A new exclusive, limited edition screen-print will be launched on the opening night of the show.

Otto has developed a meticulous spray painting technique by intricately cutting layer upon layer of illustrative stencils. His distinctive, graphic ‘ribbon’ style and continued exploration of iconic imagery have made him one of the UK's pre-eminent street artists.

Otto’s large scale, epic paintings can be seen in the streets of East London. These murals are extensively photographed by his ever-growing street art following. In the run up to the exhibition, Otto will be painting a new piece near Well Hung gallery in London.

Exclusively on the opening night, we will be launching a new limited edition screen print and will be giving away a free 'Cop a Load' print alongside every sale and to the first 10 people through the doors!

Alongside a collection of Otto's prints we will be showcasing several stunning new canvases and the full series of his orb paintings.

All new work will be added to our website here following the exhibition.

Exhibition opens tonight! We've got some amazing paintings on show and are releasing his new 'Tutan Come-On' screen print. Also the first 10 through the doors will receive a free Cop a Load print. We'll also be giving one of these away with every purchase tonight.

Osch, real name Otto Schade, the half-Chilean half-German London based street artist, whose original "ribbon" and "sunset" styles you are bound to have seen up on a wall near you, graces Westbank this summer with a solo exhibition of new works.

Osch enjoys a huge following around the world, especially Sweden, Norway, Germany, UK and, as of late, the USA.
He will be releasing his Anonymosch print during the show. There will be only 10 hand-finished silver mask and ball prints and 15 hand-finished white mask and ball prints. Both silkscreen and spray-paint on 45 x 45 cm 300gsm Somerset paper.

The Private View will take place 6-10pm on Thursday 7th July at Westbank Gallery, 3-5 Thorpe Close, London W10 5XL.

In his own words, Otto talks about the show:

"'AnonymOsch' came about for a couple of reasons. When we were putting together my latest solo show I had to come up with a name that meant something to me! I decided on the show being named 'Extinction Extension'. Followers of my work will know that I try to highlight the futility of war and also the fragile plight of many of our endangered species. These guys at anonymous try very much to do the same thing in their own kind of way.They have started a global movement that is growing by the day. Although I don't agree with everything that they highlight, a lot of what they convey makes perfect sense. My 'Orb' (or 'Sunset') body of works do not pertain to anywhere in the world in particular, but rather everywhere where there is conflict. 'AnonymOSCH' is a hybrid artwork that utilises the impact of the simplistic Orb and also encompasses my trademark ribbon style. The face of Anonymous was taken from the 'V is for Vendetta' movie, although originally (as I am led to believe) it was manufactured as a Guy Fawkes mask.
When Anonymous Chapter One, London commissioned the drawing from me I jumped at the chance as it was an image that I had been toying with for quite some time."
