Here's a question, if you were in NY and saw the stand on the day but were only allowed to buy ONE canvas, which would it be? Would have to be a flower thrower for me.

that is right jh, i have a client who bought a bh from bonhams, it didnt have coa in hand but pc had verified by email. He only recently contacted bonhams again to get him the coa as he was looking to sell, the coa was sorted very quickly. The purchase was within the last 18mnths or so.

I'm sure like me, everyone else would love to see the fantastic original you bought from Bonhams that didn't have PC.

So think the issues are yours.
It does have a PC COA now and although in cat it said came with a COA. The original owner had never applied for a cert. Bonhams however had an email confirming it's authenticity to them. Eg from PC to Bonhams stating originality and that they would supply a cert after the sale. Which they did. Bonhams got the cert for me in my name etc.
But it's logical that they confirm to the big auction houses regardless of COA's.
"Would love to see the original you bought from Bonhams that didn't have PC....."
Why in case I'm lying. A pic of my Banksy will not solve anything. Be more interested for you to show us what your consigning as it's for sale and will be in the next catalogue?
ps my client status with them is someone who has paid a couple of invoices nothing more or less. But they like all business have big clients who they will service. I also have never sold any art

I always thought the ed 25 were 12x10" blk/white but I know 2 of the ed are 16x12" and silver so there could be other formats that make up the 25. Must have a look at the Laz one and see if its unique or unique format and part of the ed 25. |
