"Lucky Dog"Graphite on paper 29 x 42 cm 2017 I like how the telephone wires seem to be going right into the pet owners head as though he/she is receiving a direct message which is "Lucky Dog" which pertains to both the dog and the human because the relationship is reciprocal. Very well done Qbic. |

Very different from his usual work, I like it though. Is it a change of direction or just a one off? This piece was made under the influence of his latest trip to Washington and he started it there. Not really a change of direction but I think you may see a few similar pieces in the future. |

When I see the fame of Retna who looks like a piece of shit, ok maybe he does nice lettering, and QBic who does great murals also, well, I think someone shall grab such fair offer as I still believe that things someday shall get corrected. Less Retna, more QBic, sounds like a better art world....

Couldn't agree more. Qbic has largely flown under the radar, but is a crazy talented dude and I'm not sure why he doesn't get much love. Maybe you're right though, maybe it's because he doesn't have a large social media presence. Honestly I have no idea, but absolutely love the guy's work.
